VU Alumna New President at Wright State

Cheryl Bunnett '84 Schrader has been named the next president of Wright State University. She will become the first woman to lead the school in its 50-year history.  Got her BS in Eng'g at Valpo and her masters and PhD at Notre Dame.  Quite an impressive lady.

Wow! When you stop following a fellow student's career after they graduate you can miss quite a bit. Learning this was a lot like finding out Jon Steinbrecher was commissioner of the Mid-Con/Ohio Valley/Mid-America Conference.

I went to college with her and her smarts, initiative and leadership were very impressive.

I also went to college with her and was in many classes with her. She was incredibly intelligent and hard-working then and likely is even more so now.
