VU2014

Friday, November 10, 2017   Indiana State   Indiana   7   - L
Friday, November 10, 2017   Arkansas State   Evansville   7   - L
Friday, November 10, 2017   Southern Illinois    Winthrop   6   - W
Friday, November 10, 2017   Wright State   Loyola   7   - W (I'll be watching this one. A MVC team vs 1 of our former HL foes. I hope Loyola blows them out)
Friday, November 10, 2017   Missouri State   Western Kentucky   7   - Should be a good game. If Alize is healthy then I pick MSU to win. If he isn't then WKU wins)
Friday, November 10, 2017   Northern Iowa   North Carolina   6   - L (I think North Carolina blows them out. Moral justice would be if UNI could pull the upset)

Saturday, November 11, 2017   Illinois State   Florida Gulf Coast   noon   - L (FGCU is good and Illinois State is short handed)
Saturday, November 11, 2017   IUPUI   Bradley   1   - W (I hope Bradley wins big)
Saturday, November 11, 2017   Coe College   Drake   2   - W (they better win)

Sunday, November 12, 2017   Eureka   Loyola   2   -  W

Friday, November 10, 2017   Indiana State   Indiana   7   - W  (first game against first-year coach are the best opportunities against P-5 schools, why not?)
Friday, November 10, 2017   Arkansas State   Evansville   7  - L
Friday, November 10, 2017   Southern Illinois    Winthrop   6  - W
Friday, November 10, 2017   Wright State   Loyola   7   - W
Friday, November 10, 2017   Missouri State   Western Kentucky   7   - L (Even if Alize plays, there'll be some adjustments needed)
Friday, November 10, 2017   Northern Iowa   North Carolina   6   - L

Saturday, November 11, 2017   Illinois State   Florida Gulf Coast   noon   - L
Saturday, November 11, 2017   IUPUI   Bradley   1   - W

Why is everyone so certain that Arkansas State is going to beat Evansville? I understand that Evansville isn't that good but am I missing something to believe that they can at least handle this team?

I'm only certain of one thing and that is that I'm not certain of anything...I think.  But I will say that I overlooked that it's a home game for Evansville, so they could certainly take Arkansas State.

It's really just a gut feeling. E-ville probably won't be that good this year. Arkansas State also isn't a bad team this year.

My female cousin teaches at Jonesboro, AR (just south of Paragould if you were wondering) so I'm pulling for the Red Wolves. Besides the refs will most likely hand the game to the Purple Aces anyway. This was a school that decided in 2008 to change their nickname from Indians to something more PC (Red Wolves)

Just a reminder for pickers---SIU is without starters Thik Bol and PG Marcus Bartley and has only 10 available players for the Winthrop Game--and Wnthrop has 6-8 Cook who is Big South's Player of Year--but they only return him and one other starter. I don't think they will be able to handle 6-10 240 Kavion Pippen (our starting center, Cook is only 185 pounds but very talented)--I will not not pick my team but the away game will be a tough one for the Salukis

He's not from Arkansas and related to Scottie, is he?

Chicago State had Scottie's nephew a few years back, I believe.

Good luck with Winthrop the Valley needs all the non-conf wins it can get.
