Good to hear they are enjoying all that Nashville has to offer!

An interesting twist after Bryce had to take Valpo to Detroit last year: the SEC men's tournament is in Vanderbilt's Nashville as part of a 12-year contract agreement to hold the tournament there.

Would be interesting to ask Bryce (in private of course) which team he thinks was/is better, last years Valpo squad or this years Vanderbilt team???

Last year's Valpo team.  Just watch what they are doing against Arkansas right now...

The one with half as many losses.

50-50.  W/L only matters when comparing teams with mirror image schedules.  SEC is P5, can't compare them to HL in the least.

It's important to note that no team has ever made the tournament with 15 losses. Valpo's team last year would have made this year's field. There's an incorrect assumption mediocre sec teams would finish without a loss in the Horizon, but considering the difficulty of playing anybody on the road, I don't think this would be the case. P5 teams don't have to do well on the road since the selection committee only cares about quantity of top 50 wins. They also don't have to PLAY on the road outside of conference.
