I look forward to more 3's from Jubril next season, similar to what Kikas did his Junior and Senior seasons!

Vashil is playing extremely well, and is fighting to be second team all-HL!  I think that he pretty much has DPOTY wrapped up...

Not me, I'm looking forward to this year! When the HL decides he needs to be covered out to the arc he should own many of his defenders off the dribble. I suspect that some of Jubril's slow unveiling is by design and would be shocked if new wrinkles are not added.

Listened to the first 10 minutes on the radio and will watch the full game tomorrow. I was glad to hear Valpo getting off to a fast start. A 7-0 run to start and 23 points in the first 10 minutes. It's really bizarre following a team that gets 20+ point spreads and covers every time. That has to be a good sign.

If Jubril can consistently hit that 3, watch out. He simply becomes impossible to defend. He becomes (I can't believe I am going to say this) a more athletic version of Alec Peters...

Only two blocks for Vashil? Only two blocks for the team?

It sure seems that there were more than two shots when Vashil made contact with the ball and altered its trajectory.  Would it help the scorers if we all held up signs to call their attention to blocked shots?

They were taking some pretty wild shots.... with 10 minutes to go in the game, they had made 7 2-point baskets.   Alec Peters had made 7 2-point baskets.

This was a mismatched game on paper.  But that doesn't mean Valpo gets the automatic win.  Ask Oakland about that, they lost to YSU at home but are a clear mismatch on paper.  I watched Oakland destroy WSU similar to the way we did YSU last night.  The difference was our star played half the game and Oakland's star played all but 9.  I understand this is a YSU game thread but watch out for Oakland, they are starting to get along with each other and Kampe.  And they are playing better defense.
CRUSADERS!!!

Can tell you that everyone on press row was watching blocks closely. He definitely only had two.

Just watched the game with blocks in mind - this is accurate.

Painful game to watch, to be honest. Didn't go over a minute without a whistle.

In spite of complaints on this board concerning attendance (rightfully so) the crowd last night was very big (over 4500) and looked great on TV.  Obviously it wasn't the desire to see a big time team but could have been the promotion.  Any other specifics as to why YSU drew so well??
