it looks like they play a PAC-12 all-star team in about 15 hours, and again two days later. But, maybe no warm-ups against full international sides before the Olympics?

I don't know if it's a reasonable approximation, but
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australia_men%27s_national_basketball_team#Depth_Chart
has Rowdy backing up the Jazz's Joe Ingles at SF.

Is Delly back in shape? He didn't play in the NBA Finals, right? He's on the Olympic roster, at least, and on that depth chart listed as first of three PG's.

Looks like six NBA players on the depth chart.

The extended group stage (full round robin with six teams) is just to pick the top four of six (two groups), and determine seeding. With the awkward game of "don't want to be in the US' side of the bracket". I seem to remember that Australia got accused of taking that kind of strategy too much into account in a past tournament...

Any reason to think Australia should have trouble finishing in the top three in their group? US, France or Australia, also rans?

Maybe they contend for a medal?

Delly played in the Finals - Kyrie just didn't come out much. He just signed with the Bucks as a free agent.

Australia's got a rough group, but I think they should advance. USA will obviously advance and then France and Serbia (#5 and #6 in the FIBA World Rankings) should make it through. After that it's #11 Australia and #14 China, but looking at the rosters I would put Australia ahead of Serbia for 3rd most likely to make it through to the knockout stage. Obviously I think Australia should be playing for the runner up spot in Group A, but if you aren't going to finish second it might behoove you to finish 4th to avoid the US in round 2.

Looks like a nice win for Australia against Argentina (84-83) in a warm up game.  Broekhoff started, scored 8 points and had 7 rebounds in 22 minutes.

You can read more about the game here:

I was thinking about Rowdy this morning when I heard a report about the housing in Rio.  Evidently there are massive issues with the rooms in which the Australian Olympic teams are being housed.  It seems that it hasn't affected his play.

I see he started a head of Chicago Bulls Cameron Bairstow.  Not sure they play the same position however.

What are the odds that NBC will show a shot of Ryan during tonight's Opening Ceremonies?
I'm thinking if he stands near Deladova, his roommate, maybe he'll get in the view of the cameras.
