My guess is his size/ability to shoot is the driver.

Also, we don't have Fazekas for a year and Mileek is supposedly a work in progress which leaves us with Burton and Freshman Hazen. Lottich may want more depth/ability to have multiple scoring threats on the floor to give Tevonn a break

We had glaring problems at PF last year besides Alec (because of Adekoya).  I completely understand that's a big need for 2017/18.  Just asking the question to see what y'all think.

I think we need to be able to shoot out of a zone, as this was a weakness last year too.

I think both Burton and Bakari can pick up where Shane left off in getting into the Lane.

From the workout tape he shot really well from just inside and at the arc (against air, of course).  He looks like he has the ball skills to free himself up and off  a dribble or two hit from outside.  His ball skills could also mean some penetration as well from a wing, the wing span could also help on D..

Wish we could see him being guarded or playing defense, because it looks like he only jumps barely six inches off the floor.

Maybe there will be tape of  some "real" basketball played.

I'm really glad that Lottich and the Staff are being picky with that last scholarship. That Australian Player Sebit Reath looks really talented. I know it wasn't game tape but you don't see Big guys with that type of length and skill very often. He clearly left a huge impression with the Coaches who actually saw him play during scrimmage and workouts to warrant an offer (5 in one day).

One random note. Valpo apparently offered an Australian Guard named Tobias Cameron. He just signed with Abilene Christian, but had offers from Southern Utah, UIC and Valpo. Interesting. Maybe it was a roster crunch or didn't think there was an opportunity at Valpo. Curious when he was offered. My guess was probably earlier on?

Appears that the Camerons qualify for the New Zealand squads as well as playing in Australia.  The younger Cameron draws parallels to Kirk Penney who was quite the guard for Wisconsin's Sweet Sixteen program in 2003 and also was on the 2000 Final Four team as a frosh.  He is a Kiwi (NZ) legend.  Maybe Koala can fill us in on the Cameron family. Abilene is a JC so he could be available for a D1 program after next Spring.

Isn't Abilene Christian in the Southland Conference with Stephen F Austin? Pretty sure they are D1.

My bad, they are a D1 in the Southland, but have a JC website 8-)
