Women's Tennis Coach Bob Modesto has retired and Bowling coach John Martin left to start a new program at LeMoyne in New York.

Both did a pretty good job. The tennis team finished with their most wins in 20 years.

These openings may allow others who might have been replaced to survive another season.

ARC and Brown Field renovations?

Can’t say whether or not this is accurate but valoparidise posted on X that due to an anonymous source simultaneous renovations to both the ARC and Brown Field will be undertaken. This is in addition to the air in the ARC which was not an anonymous source. If true this is really big time news.

Former Head Mens Soccer Coach, Mike Avery, will be inducted into the Indiana Soccer Hall of Fame in February. He certainly deserves the honor. He was a helluva coach working under less than optimal conditions (i.e., minimal support and resources), yet he is the all-time winning men’s soccer coach in Valpo history. And after all that, they flat out just dropped the program. Well, at least the rest of Indiana knows what a valuable talent he was and continues to be — — — except not at Valpo.

Today vs EIU it looks like both Men and Women had their largest margin of victory in school history. Before somebody says EIU is not the premier swimming powerhouse (which is true) the men hadnt beat them in 8 years and have an all time of 4-17, Women are on a winning streak but have an all time of 5-14.

This appears to be a strong team on both sides. Swim teams are hard to build, so many events and relays to cover. This team might have a good year ahead of them..

Given our AD's willingness to fire mediocrity, it seem unfathomable that the women's golf coach is still around. The program is beyond bad. Well into the third and final round of the current tournament, Valpo is, you guessed it, last, the IU Indy by 53 strokes! Even worse, when you look at a program like Evansville, in the middle of the pack, Valpo trailed the Aces by 79 strokes! Beyond repair.
