Did the building get damaged in the derecho from a few weeks ago? IDK how the weather would affect on court conditions if the AC was to be installed over the summer
The installation of air conditioning at the ARC is in progress & construction is in its final phase.
Well, I went to the game at Wash twp, and it wasnt too terrible. Obviously I would say its a bad look, but not completely terrible. If the circumstances were anything other than "our home gym was a sweaty mess" I would have been OK with it.
Honestly, with all of the decent venues around Valpo, I wonder how it would look logistically to expand the Popcorn classic into a Tour de Valpo with multiple venues hosting matches.
I certainly don’t have any insights into the coaches “unavailable “ situation, but the fact that it has now been over a week, makes one wonder, what the heck is going on.
The Popcorn tourney is certainly a highlight of the year and given we have Cincy and Michigan in town would no doubt make it a good recruiting weekend. Yet, the coach remains “unavailable “?
The only logical explanation is that some sort of investigation is underway. Let’s all hope it’s something else but if it is something like an illness or family matter then the use of the word unavailable will turn out to be a poor choice of words.
Isn't about time we hear about what is going on with Coach Avery and the volleyball program? This is getting to be ridiculous!
It cant be good-there has not been a coaches show regarding volleyball or any preview videos .Being the winningest program we ever had and her being the director of that it seems ludicrous that the admin would be letting her go.
Comparatively women's golf and baseball are absolute bottom feeders yet no changes there.

I agree. This pattern is not normal. Health or family issue? Just say it’s a heath or family issue and leave it at that. It is a very wide catch-all. People understand. Anything else ….. and it requires some level of transparency.
A week later, no statement from the athletic department or Coach Avery has me concerned. Hoping all is well

Not only that but the way we lost. In the first set Valpo was up 23-16 only to be out scored 10-1 to lose 26-24. Granted, they have a lot of positions to shore up with the loss of some key players, but being out scored 10-1 isn't very "Carin Avery" like.
Credit when due they could have easily lost to Cleveland State but they battled back for a 5 set weekend.
Where is Glaser? We need another hitter.
