@valpopal I understand your sentiment, if it's hard to get excited about supporting the players who very well may transfer, get excited for what Roger brings to the table in his efforts. You don't need my pep talk but fan support of our players could be the determining factor for some in stay or leaving IDK. As fans of the sport, MVC, and the institution we still have to support and love these guys. This is the way I am approaching it at least.... Just my opinion. As far as that G-league guy getting eligibility... that doesn't seem right to me either.
For starters. Maybe there "long time fans" can allow people to stand up and cheer for the team. Have heard a lot recently from people who claim that fans will scold your for getting up and cheering.
@rezynezy your not wrong, that happened to me multiple times last year. I mean my username checks out. For anyone at the grit and grill I was the guy supporting the guys yelling “lets go”, when Roger spoke with the team after. My philosophy is this, is Valpo a religious school, yes? Does our team need the fans using the stands for church pews, no! It’s a sporting event, if someone has a problem with me, they can move their seats next year. I keep it family safe, so there is no reason not to enjoy the game and help get the guys motivated. I may turn off some people but I’m having fun so I’m unphased. Celebration is contagious, we can normalize being an energized fan. I know the university appreciates it, they gave me free season football tickets!
@iyellatgames Keep cheering. I hope you have a great time at the games this season. Us out of town alumni appreciate fans like you cheering loud at our games.
There can be no explanation as to why someone would say anything to anyone cheering at a sporting event with the possible exception of golf and tennis....which will also get a long rant from me.

All 3 commits have officially signed with Valpo. It brings a sense of relief to know that no one will de-commit or consider other offers. Again, it feels like this is a much higher level of talent than we had in previous years. Exciting to see.
