Southern Indiana (312) and Western Michigan (266) are both below Valparaiso (222) in the current Pomeroy Ratings. I have said in the past, my measurement of this team is that they win all the games they are supposed to win, win most of the games they could win, and lose only those sure defeats. I am hoping all MVC games will be in one of the first two categories.
Up until now Valpo has won the 3 games they were supposed to win over lower-rated teams, won the one game they could win (Cleveland State), and lost the one sure defeat to Kentucky. So far, so good.
