Don't need an entire thread on this but the current schedule with OOC opponents was released (2 more added later) and Valpo plays Murray St and Indiana St. The good news is Murray St was 1-11 and they were manhandled by most of their schedule. The other good news is their one win was vs. Indiana St. 

Scholarship programs for sure so we'll see. 

Valpo will receive $140,000 for the trip to Murray State and $175,000 to play Indiana State.

Fox's teams might beat one or both of those. 

Yes. Maybe not towards the end. It would be competitive. Somewhat disheartened by the portal haul or lack there of one.

Just gotta ride the wave in year 2. We lost a lot of players to portal (29) and have 25+ seniors leaving.

Schedule is brutal. I hope we don’t schedule a D3 school again for the final two games. Win or loss there’s zero gain. Think we get handled by any of the Indiana NAIA teams and regional D2s.

Perhaps we are waiting for the portal cattle drive to close and move on the 4,000 or so who don't find home, perhaps.

l like the FCS schedule, these are the types we need to schedule.

This guy looks darn good. However……….

So we are loading up on (impressionable?) freshmen to replace our leaving players.  In theory, these new guys will stick around for four years and develop into a conference champion team.  Yet, right away, some really good first year 2025 players have already left which undermines this approach.  This pattern, at least right now, is not confidence building.  

@jd24 from my understanding, the $140K and $175K are partially used for that, with no additional funding for travel, but that amount still should go a decent ways toward funding the program.
