Noah Ehrlich had a full ride to Miami as well as offers from Toledo, Central Michigan and Marshall--and is a 4.0 student. Reads like a real stud. No doubt the locals like Rez can add to the story as this kid was the real deal at Crown Point. Staff starting to pickup some nice pieces.

If memory serves he was QB and a hell of a baseball player. Unfortunately for him he and his ball team had to face Caden Crowell in the Regionals at the Steel Yard.
Noah is excited to be here and is looking forward to competing and giving 100%.
Exciting to hear it! Wishing all the best at Valpo!
Who knows, maybe he could be a two sport guy. LS: SmithThis guy looks darn good. However……….
So we are loading up on (impressionable?) freshmen to replace our leaving players. In theory, these new guys will stick around for four years and develop into a conference champion team. Yet, right away, some really good first year 2025 players have already left which undermines this approach. This pattern, at least right now, is not confidence building.
At this point in time, I'd expect the portal to be slow for Valpo. There's likely a lot of guys in the portal under the misguided thought that they should get paid when the reality of the situation is they won't. Once reality hits them in the head, they'll be looking for spots which the non scholly schools can feed off.

@valpofb16 bigger question on Ehrlich, how good is he right now? Is he good enough to push Rowan out of the starting role next year, or is he just coming in as someone the staff thinks could be the starter 2027 and beyond?
Rowan had 14 picks last season and is 1-15 as a starter. 0 points against rival Butler in the first half.
Despite a miracle comeback over Stetson. It’s probably gone as bad as possible…
I do think in the non con / pay games you may see Rowan start those out of loyalty/injury preservation. But my guess AT WORST it’ll be a Clarke/Seewald situation where Ehrlich is starting or taking majority of snaps by first conference game

You mean like vs Sacred Heart when Clarke was injured and Seewald came in and almost immediately threw a long pass to Jean Rene in the endzone. It was a "where have you been hiding this guy?" moment.

He didn't throw a pick in the last two games! Seriously, I'm wondering how much of the problem was him still learning the offense and where to throw the ball. Obviously, the faster one can understand the sets the better. In that regard, Ehrlich had a weighted 3.97 gpa in high school.
