How is the 2026 recruiting class? Would love to see a 1 year turnaround, even just sprinkling some wins in.

Here is the only commit: 6' shooting guard/forward

Dani Guedet helped lead Washington H.S. to the best season in program history in 2024-25. The 6-0 wing was a IBCA Third Team All-State honoree, averaging 12.9 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. Guedet also picked up First Team All-Conference and Peoria Journal Star All-Area accolades as the Panthers won a school-record 36 games and finished in third place in the state. She currently plays her AAU basketball for Mac Irvin Lady Fire.

@vu72 same high school as Alec Peters too. Would likely be an instant starter on this year’s team.

Short of someone leaving, we have only one scholarship left open for next year.

Hopefully tonight is the night!  Coach Boyd has seemed less defeated in the last 2 shows.

Either way, please schedule a non D1 to start next season.  There are 4-5 valley teams doing it so it is allowed.  Second, schedule Chicago State.

The hope of getting a win today just took a hit - leading scorer Fiona Connolly is OUT with injury.

Crap, I’m wrong again. I blame it on the Connelly injury. Maybe SIU or Evansville will be the dub.

0-22, that is like unthinkable. I feel bad for the team, coach and players who seem to be good people, but this team obviously needs better D1 talent. With the transfer protocol and turnover, the talent level can only go up.

The next 2 games against Evansville and SIU are most likely the Lady Saders can pull a W this season. What are the chances they can have to opportunity to ring the bell?

Last night vs UE may have been an all time low. 3 point lead after 1. Down 30 after 3.

Valpo women currently have the worst record in the NCAA at 0-23. Central Conn. and Niagara sit at 0-22. Tomorrow will likely be the last chance for a win this season.

A must win and very likely the last chance for the Lady Saders today to prevent a season of infamy. I wonder how the Boyd-Hosmer EOY performance review will go at the end of the season.

Remember SIU beat us by 38 at home. This is a big ask.
I looked at Niagara's schedule they have 2 games against teams with 5 wins. CCSU has several remaining possibles including at home with Chicago State.
