Paul and his wife Jan have been one of the greatest supporters and funders of basketball at Valpo. They funded the addition of the Schrage basketball wing of the ARC as well as a most recent gift of $1 million in support of NIL at Valpo.
A legend in the advertising world, Paul was best known as the creator of Ronald McDonald. A deep loss for his family and Valpo.

Mr Schrage was a crusader of modern advertising and a beacon of hope for an athletic department seeing some of the worst years in its existence. May he rest in peace. He has some of the best seats in the house to catch more VU basketball now
