Rakim Chaney just confirmed he will be staying
Fantastic! Love his game! That’s three starters for sure!
This is…amazing. Roger had a vision and it’s coming to fruition.
It’s huge for the school as well. After years of negative news, there’s now excitement surrounding the university. Plus we have a President who knows and loves ball.
Success begets success. We’re seeing it in action.
Blown away by these 3 already. Fantastic news. So thankful.
You guys are going to love Curry.
He was averaging 21 points 6 rebounds and 2 steals before injury. Noblesville at that time had the #1 strength of schedule according to the sagrin ratings.
He had an mcl sprain January 2nd. He was out until January 30th. The acl injury occurred the next day. Surgery was completed last Friday.

I believe there is also an issue that incoming freshman Justin Curry will be out with an ACL tear
Correct. It happened February 1 so at least it was some time ago for healing purposes.
I believe it’s normally a 8-12 month recovery? I wouldn’t be surprised if he redshirts or starts out as a redshirt at the very least. He will miss a lot of key development time that happens with the team in the early part of the season and even earlier in the summer so he will be behind even once he gets fully healthy. Such a shame, I love his game! I hope he surprises us but there is a good chance he decides to redshirt.
ACL surgery recovery is much shorter than it used to be. Sometimes it's 6 months. I'd expect him to be with the team and participating in practice during the summer. The possibility of a redshirt is always there with this type of injury.
