Those are things that were in Coach Boyd’s control and she can be fairly judged on.
This is exactly my point.
Maybe she should get fired, maybe not. But in any event she should surely get no slack when next year begins. I believe she should get it together real quickly next season. In my book and for my money, it is hard to believe ANYONE could go 0-32.

This is exactly my point.
It’s a small sample size but I watched the Drake game where we collapsed and lost the lead late in the game. And I have to say…the coaching wasn’t there. Drake had a player hit two bigs shots, but our offensive flow was bad. And I don’t recall us calling a timeout to stem the tide.
Again, it’s only one game. Things can only get better from here!
I like Boyd and am optimistic for next season. 1 hearsay and 2 observations.
A party closer than me mentioned in passing the girls VU needed to stay transferred under strife with Evans before VU released her and got Boyd in place.
Observations: Men werent competitive two years ago, now they are. People on this board, alumni and around the school were doom and gloom this time last year when key players transferred out, now there is excitement for next season.
Boyd came into a mess, now she has a full off year to work. The recruit coming in Dani Guedet was a key part of her high school that just won a state championship, looks like the other recruit listed is coming from a solid hs team.
I believe the tone and feel will be a lot different this time next year. Feel free to call me on it if it isnt, or let me know I was right when they turn this thing around.
