Has anyone else noted that Eldon Balko, our highly regarded VU choir director of the 70s and 80s, passed away in April. He lived to age 96. He was a talented man and was a close friend of many VU faculty of his generation. RIP Eldon.

His wife, Donna, preceded him in death in March. Their memorial service will be on May 24 at 11:00.

Eldon and Donna gave sacrificially of their time and talents to both the university and the students. Eldon was truly a great choral conductor and teacher. He and Donna will be greatly missed.
