@jd24  Well…… Foreign student to an Ivy in the current anti-foreigner, anti-Ivy atmosphere.  That’ll be interesting to follow. Loved the kid’s guts and got my Masters at Columbia, so I’m all in on his development and success. He joins Matt and Luke in a very different DI environment. No schollies, but the financial aid office is known to be VERY generous with the need-based $$$$$$ for athletes.

Not sure of the reliability of the source I used which was twitter user Valpowoj who has a bit of a spotty record in reporting commitments and I'm being generous.

Having said that, the twitterer posted Sepp was committed to Cornell so I had the right league but wrong school. There's no other reports of this nor does Sepp's twitter indicate he's going anywhere.

@jd24 Thanks for digging into this. Regardless, Kaspar going Ivy says he’s thinking about a future that may not necessarily include BB. The network that opens to Ivy grads is enormous.  Ivys look after their own. I’ll bet this is will be his only transfer.

That's if the twitterer is correct and his track record is poor.

Paul mentioned that Tucker was an Indiana All-Star in his post on X. Yet, he had no D1 offers last year. So, apparently this new model for college basketball is that unless you are the elite of elite HS player, you go under-recruited and end up going the D2 route, put up good numbers as a freshman, enter the portal and hopefully land a D1 scholarship. Find the right opportunity and potentially cash in, in another year or two for NIL money.

Tucker appears to be good get. How often has Valpo landed an Indiana All-Star? I know it has happened a number of times, but likely only once every few years.

Has Valpo gotten one since Clay Yeo? He's the last one that comes to mind

The full list of Valpo Indiana All-Stars is posted in my recent story at TheVictoryBell.com. It's just $5.99/month or $59.99 per year to subscribe. If you're a Valpo fan, please support.
