@kreitzerstl that was an estimate given the current level of support the school receives...which is next to nothing. Want to get a nursing building faster. Find people who are willing to donate to the project.
My point here rally gets back to facilities. Last night Murray and Missouri State played the title game at Illinois State's Duffy Bass field. A nice venue to be sure. The web page say capacity is well over 1000 seats. Here's the point: Do we need to add new facilities when we are now longer near capacity is any sport? At the title game, if there were more than 200 there I would be surprised. These larger venues just make the crowd size look like a little league game.

A nicer, not necessarily a larger, house makes a difference to some recruits. But baseball doesn't need any improvements beyond a grandstand and a permeant parking lot. Like others have said, the clubhouse, field, and training facilities for baseball are MVC caliber. The only issue is the fan experience. Basketball however would benefit from a complete overhaul as the facilities for both fans and players are lackluster. But like I said about the nursing building. The school just doesn't have any deep pocket boosters who are willing/able to donate. You have to find those people or luck out and get a good couple of years to prove to people that you deserve their money
