@ Marquette on Dec 2 is confirmed
Marquette released its non-conference schedule and the December 2 game is on the schedule. Good get for Valpo.
This just released on Instagram, the final school competing in the Kentucky MTE will be Southern University, however, it is unclear if Valpo will actually get to play a game against Southern or if Southern is just traveling to rupp arena
Valpo is at Marquette in December! Yay! It’s about friggin time. I’ll be there. Hope there is an alumni gathering before it. Put another way: There better be a gathering. If not, another blown opportunity.
A couple of things to keep in mind:
-Given deals with other conferences, a longstanding annual game against Wisconsin, and a Big East double round robin with 11 teams, Marquette only has about 5-6 games per year in which it ciould play a team like Valpo.
-I would not doubt that this was more likely to happen with Shaka Smart and than with the prior Marquette coach (Wojciechowski). Shaka prioritizes helping other black coaches.
Vulb62 is absolutely right about the need for a pre-game gathering. Lots of places near Fiserv Forum for such a gathering. Hopefully the game will be at 7:00 pm or later so that people can go to the gathering from work before the game.
Can’t wait to go to the Valpo @ Marquette game. Been too long since they’ve played a game in Milwaukee.
Valpo will be playing UNCW on Dec 13th per UNCW's Non Con release.
UNCW will be at Valpo. UNCW was 27-8 last year and made the NCAA tournament. Definitely a good get for Valpo.

An away game at Cleveland St to complete the H/H that was started last year. Other than that I don't think there is anything else confirmed. Mostly just reports of a game at Northwestern

Anyone have word on a final release date? Seems like it has been around this time of year when it gets finalized. Looks like 6 games have been announced so we are waiting on the news for ~5 more games. I am assuming those will be low and mid major games as most of the power conference schools have put their schedules out. Just curious if anyone has heard anything new.
