It looks like the five will be Brown, Deese, Barnes, maybe Justus and probably a freshman. I’m picking up vibes that one freshman made quite the splash at the secret against Fort Wayne to the tune of 24 and 8. Who that was is still an unknown but it was a big. Exciting times!
If it was a freshman big it was likely Walker or Hopoi. Hopoi is a fwd and has experience so I would put stock on him
I should clarify that Roger said, when discussing freshman said..."one of our guys had 24 points and 8 boards" He also said three freshman, one of which had the 24/8, scored in double figures. My assumption was that it was a big.

I really believe that this is Carter, from what little I have seen he looks to have the best game out of our big guys at this point in time. JT looked pretty good as well and would not be surprised if he slots in the starting lineup. I agree with VU72, I think it will be Brown, Deese, Barnes, Hopoi, and slot in someone else at the 4, Shon or JT IMO. It is fun to speculate. I do remember how last year went, the minute allotment from the first game to the last game changed based on how guys settled into the program. for example, Devons minutes went down throughout the year, and Carsons minutes ticked way up at the end. Everything is fluid!

Truth! The starting five last year for game one were Devon, Darius, Jeff, Cooper and Shaw. We last to Liberty by 20. The final game had All, Cooper, Jeff, Carson and Darius. Shaw played 2 minutes and Devon rode the pines for the entire game.
I do believe we will have much greater depth and size so I'm sure when the dust settles things very well will look a lot different at the end of the season.
It will be interesting to see who plays during the exhibition on Tuesday. I have a feeling the minutes will be spread out amongst the majority of the roster.
There does appear to be more of what was lacking the past few seasons. Height, depth, and interior defense. We will see how well these pickups translate and how well these guys can mesh together.
