Didn’t Valpo just have a new ticket vendor a year or two ago?
@kreitzerstl That was for ticket sales. This seems to be operations and guidance
I think the other vendor was just to update the format of tickets into an electronic method. This vendor is specifically to handle all sales and operations around season ticket holders, group sales, etc. not the format of tickets.
So what does this mean for ticket office personnel?
Season ticket deposits came out a few days ago. I decided to purchase season tickets this year, so I put a deposit down. I was curious as what the cost options will be, when putting the deposit down it did not say what the overall cost would be. I am curious as to what range they were in last year. I went to every game but 2 last year but just bought single gamers. I'm sure buying a season ticket is cheaper than single games but curious as to what season tickets are going for this year or what they were last year.

I have no idea but am guessing they will be up somewhat. Volleyball and football individual game prices are up to $14 versus $10 last year (I think).
@vu72 looling back quick at credit card bill, i paid around $450 per seat for chairbacks last season. Price not determined until home schedule for non-con is completed. Price varies year to year based on# of home games. Hope this helps a little.
@vufan75 I think that answers my question on the ballpark figure, we are going to get chair backs. I was genuinely curious, and really that's pretty reasonable really IMO. I counted 20 home games last year, so it was roughly 22.50 for each home game which is a 7.50 savings each game from the box office price if I remember correctly. Either way, I will be joining you all at the games again this year.
At some point I feel like they need to just bite the bullet with tickets and just hand local schools tickets to hand out to students
@rezynezy Yeah, it’s sad as a fan when there isn’t much attendance. The student section or lack of, surprised me when I started going to the games. I’m out in Starke County so things get boring in the colder months and the early darkness creeps in, having affordable D1 basketball to watch close by is appealing to me. The community/residents of valpo generally don’t seem to rally around the universities sports teams from an outsiders prospective over the last few years. I hear the Horizon and Drew years were different though. But hey, I care so I’ll continue to do my part bringing my family and dragging a friend when I can! My daughter looks forward to the game promotions. I’m a basketball fan so I’m grateful and hope Roger has us improved over last year.
Glad you're buying season tickets this season...as for attendance not where it use to be, what's new? With exceptions it is down everywhere, even in the big conferences I believe. I'm hoping that this year we will be improved from last and the more we win the larger the gate.
I haven’t seen any notification for season ticket deposits. Was it by snail mail or email?
@tjjvalpo I believe social media sites announced them this time around
