Nashville is an interesting market for d1 hoops. It is possibly one of the densest markets in the US. Still find it pathetic that you have had 10 years of 20+ win seasons and nobody cares. Feel bad for those teams and for Casey. Probably could have kept him if the city cared about Belmont hoops
Well. Belmont has officially declined any involvement with the NIT. 2 things come of this
1. The Valley still gets an auto bid...which will likely go to Bradley
2. This decision likely comes in light of team/player meetings indicating that a good portion of the playerbase does not intend to return to Nashville.
