The University of Kentucky has now listed their athletic department as an LLC in an effort to find new revenue generation methods. With this change comes the perceived ability for fans to
1. Buy stock in UK athletics
2. Access to a perceived stream of new revenue
3. Ability for athletes to become "employees" of the LLC and not the university post House settlement
4. Legal protection against losses and company risks
