I don't think the price of a ticket has much to do with attendance for any one program.
Yeah lets not over think this. If the wins are coming, more sponsorship flows in, the fans show up and don't think much about price. Right now they couldn't give away tickets. We need to actually have a good shooting game to win tonight. Our defense could keep it close and maybe 1,800 show up, but we are asking a lot of our defense to execute perfectly for 40 minutes if we are shooting below 40% again. Valpo has been a different team the last two games by taking fewer and better quality 3-point shots (5-11 & 9-12), which apparently has also resulted in more free throws (31-40 & 26-35). Let's see if this becomes a permanent pattern.
Following LiveStats the last 10 minutes it seemed to be: a ISU layup good - Valpo 2 FTs good, ISU layup good - Valpo 2 FTs good, and on and on.

I loved what Coach said about challenging VU students and others to get back to ARC to support this team.
I think it captures, in microcosm, the broader challenge to be put before the entire VU community to get excited about this university, rather than assume that things will keep shuffling along.

Good win against a good team but it took a 9 of 12 from 3 performance coupled with 12 more FTAs to do so. The 2nd may continue....particularly at home. The former is very unlikely.....for any team. Still down around 40% from 2. Got eaten alive on the defensive boards.
