Well, Arch Madness has finally arrived. As we all know by now, Valpo is the 7 seed and will take on Indiana State on Thursday. If they win, they’ll advance to face Bradley. The good news is that Valpo has been playing some of the best basketball in the Valley over the last eight games. The tough part is missing out on a bye spot after AJ Casey hit that three-pointer on Saturday. Still, we’ve beaten every team on our side of the bracket, so a run all the way to the championship game shouldn’t surprise anyone who knows this team’s potential. I’m heading out this evening toward St. Louis, hoping something special is in store for this Valparaiso squad. I know I plan on meeting up with a few of you while I’m there, so feel free to post below if you’ll be attending. You can also find me in the Valpo section of the Enterprise Center. What are your thoughts on Arch Madness this year—and any thoughts on postseason awards?

Having an absolute blast at the games and in STL. We have a much improved turnout this year.
