That said, Valpo has a real chance of winning if Ross is hurt. Marquette has been horrid tonight and horrid all season when Ross is not on the floor.

I’m sick. Led at every media timeout. Played OT without 3 starters, 2 terrible calls against Chaney that cost him the ability to play. Free throws 34-12. Pettigrew cramps at the worst time.

Tough loss, but a lot to build on as a team. If we can play consistently like this we will have a fun season. Well done all, just slipped away. However we lose in OT to a Big East team after 3 key players foul out have cramping issues. Overall, feeling much more optimistic after Cleveland State, western Michigan, and this game.
At about game 3 of the season I couldn’t figure out what Mark Brown Jr actually provided to our team. Since then all I could see is his faults. Now all I see is someone lucky that we are lean at point guard who will grind our offense to a halt just to chuck up ANOTHER bad shot. We are in trouble if he is needed in any meaningful minutes this year. Unfortunately that’s exactly where we are.
