Caleb finished his round -8 in a two-way tie for second place and one shot behind the leader. This was one eagle, seven birdies, and one bogey. (There are more golfers yet to tee off, so his final rank is yet to be determined.)
Looks like the round got delayed by some weather. Anthony probably tees off in the last group of the day in about 30-40 minutes.
Great round by Caleb. One thing about the Korn Ferry Tour, for most tournaments you need to make a ton of birdies - otherwise you drop quickly. Only 14 of the 144 players who have been on the course are below Even par.
Caleb still in 2nd place one stroke off the lead. Anthony is 4 under after 15. Because of the rain delay, his round got suspended. Based on the today’s scores, I’m guessing the cut line will be 7 or 8 under par.
Round 2 is off to a great start so far. Anthony is now at -7. Projected cut is currently -5. Caleb tees off at 1:50 CT.
Cut moved to -7. Anthony is playing the weekend at -8. Caleb is off to a slow start but just eagled his 10th hole, now at -10.
Caleb still just one stroke off the lead at -13, Anthony at -8 is tied for 51st. How cool is it to have both make cut!
Incredibly cool! Hope both continue to play well over the weekend and it would be great to see Caleb make a run at winning the tournament.
A recent golfer from where I teach also made the cut (only his third), so that is also really cool.
Kid will probably get his PGA card within the next couple years if he keeps it up
Are the two putterer's joining the Basketball program anytime soon?
Caleb is tied for first thru 8 at -17. Anthony at -12 thru 12 holes, but started on the back nine today.
I'll be there tomorrow.
Paul, you better wear good walking shoes- Anthony tees off at 8:30am and Caleb at 1:10pm. You will be able to follow both their rounds from beginning to end. Look forward to your TVB article!
