Forgot to look at the two deep when it was released but now that I did I see we’re back to Caron “or” Rowan as the starter. I’m not quite sure what it says that we still don’t know who our starting qb is halfway through the season, but it certainly doesn’t say anything good.
Not to mention that Rowan is 3rd in all of D1 in interceptions thrown with 8, in 49 fewer attempts than Weber St’s qb and 124 fewer attempts than UTEP’s qb who both have 9 picks.

@valpofb16 I think you both were right about your overarching arguments. We were at least competitive with Fox, but we shouldn’t “settle” for being competitive.
Hopefully this is just a part of the rebuild process… This has been ROUGH for all of us, and rough is an understatement.
Having been through a full rebuild I feel bad for any of the parents / families involved. Even in that rebuild in 2015. We were within 14 points at half in 9/11 games…

Carlson got 3.5 with similar results in year one. Competitive in about 50% of games years 2-3. Id imagine he got the standard 5 year first year Valpo football coach deal.
he seems like a great passionate guy, actually recruited me out of high school and was very impressed with him. I’m hoping things turn around. I just don’t think the vast majority of people understand how fragile being competitive at Valpo is
