He is such a likeable guy. The Guy and Coach are two separate entities. I hope that they win this weekend big time
Agreed. I was in town for Homecoming and decided to just walk down the hill unannounced and asked to speak with the coach. I was ushered into his office and he spent a good 20 minutes with me explaining his approach and some additional insights. A very nice, bright guy.
How arrogant of you to ask to speak to the coach on gameday-wow the balls on you to interrupt a head coaches day..love to see what answer you would get if you tried it in Alabama-...they would tell you to get stepping

Agreed, that would be arrogant and that is why I visited the coach on Friday. Get a grip.
A leopard never changes its spots.
That’s the most out of touch response I’ve seen on here about the game day visit. That’s quite actually saying something
This has a little Padilla flavor in it...
"I'm kind of a big deal. People know me. I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany." - Ron Burgandy
@vulb62 - I get it, but it’s San Diego week, and in the past we had some fun and went through Anchorman quotes throughout the week with decent participation. Ok, either it’s not funny anymore, and I can take it, or people are pissed about outcome of the football season. My bad.
@usc4valpo Please get off this Burgundy s***.
I get the double whammy on this one. I'm not a fan of Will Ferrell at all and of what I've seen of the Ron Burgundy character even less so.
Disagree, Will Ferrell is a comedic genius and Anchorman is a cult classic. He is also a USC grad who majored in sports information. That being said, we should be gracious welcoming the Channel 4 news team to Brown Field where Padilla can give Burgandy an honorary doctorate.
Whammy!
San Diahgo
Waddle killed a guy with his trident
And of course my dog Baxter
Fun is welcome! After checking their skill position roster of pretty much all Power 4 bounce backs, San Diego may not be as much

Fun is welcome! After checking their skill position roster of pretty much all Power 4 bounce backs, San Diego may not be as much. Again, another 1st year coach in PFL. Drake/San Diego/Stetson/Butler all hit portal and took drop downs immediately not call ups. Waddle was hired in before any of the aforementioned and may have to go that direction for us to compete.
Actually, he did somewhat on offense Fracassi was out for season from Eastern Michigan. McNeely’s Wyoming tape and Valpo tape don’t look like the same human being. Will Hawkins from Charlotte via the U (Miami) was an absolute bust (third school guy)
Ron Burgandy: you stay classy, San Diego. I’m Ron Burgandy?
Ed Harkin: Dammit. Who typed a question mark on the teleprompter?
San Diego 34, Saders 8

2nd part yes. 1st part a long way from yes.
Well, the Saders were up by 1 at half, but at the end the defense fell apart. cripe…
