That's instilled in him from 4 years of Horizon League refs that call 12-13 offensive fouls a game.

C'mon. That was a flop.

F.L.O.P

Looked like there was probably contact. Alec may have encouraged the contact (e.g. leaned out to catch it). It didn't look very hard. He went down pretty easy.

I suppose that equals flop. But not of the most heinous variety.

I didn't see Alec in the box score last night in a Suns win even as a DNP.  Does that mean he has been sent down for now?

Just checked the Suns website and he is still listed on the roster of 17.

From Scott Bordow, a Phoenix Suns beat writer.

With his contract, I think Alec has up to 45 days that he can be with the main roster? I'm not sure how much of that he's already burned through. They can always bring him back up from the G-League if he does extremely well or if there are injuries.

Maybe none. I think that since his Suns time so far was before the G League's first game (Nov 4) it may not count against the 45.

I think G League players have to be carried as an "inactive" on the NBA roster. Teams can carry 15 on the roster and 2 inactives. So, to me at least, it makes sense that he is listed amongst the 17.

This will likely end up being a good thing for Alec. He should get some good minutes down there and it keeps him away from that dumpster fire of a locker room.

Alec has seen a lot in his short time as a pro. First the NBA coach along with 3 assistants are fired, now 3 of their G League coaches were promoted to the big club...

Looks like Peters scored 27 in 24 minutes, with 7 boards. He didn't play the 4th quarter.

I'm going to miss seeing this jump shot at the ARC on game days. Some big shoes to fill.

Looks like a game at the local Y!

Good to see him put up big numbers - I guess his recovery's going OK.

In a 120-116 losing effort. Pre-season, 13 Suns played, and they all scored, so I guess they were really playing to try out players and combinations, and not trying _too_ hard to win.

Alec's 27 points in 24 minutes, with the mentioned 7 rebounds, came in 11-of-17 shooting fashion with 4-of-7 from beyond the arc.

UCLA Health Training Center, apparently. So not far off, gym-wise.

agibson

Looks like Alec played big minutes in his G League season opener (can we just call it the D league instead?), but was very cold shooting.

1-6 from 3, 1-12 overall. 2-2 FT's brings him to 5 points. 2 offensive, 4 defensive boards, an assist, 2 steals, and a turnover in 30.6 minutes. (30.6! What precision!) Having started the game. 126-118 loss.

Should be back in action Thursday.

Gatorade would be very disappointed if you did.

They've gone to the half... AP hasn't played yet... TWolves up 4...

agibson

Looks like the Suns played 10, not Alec, in a 118-110 win.

Still, good to see them working the two-way contract.

And, from a financial perspective, presumably this game counts.
