Brand New Episode of the podcast!!! Great listen for all of your weekend projects or commute to the games!  We talk all the MVC news, the first run of games and a look at the next week of Valley game!

Unbelievable win Crusaders, making the Valley proud!  Beat a very quality opponent and got off on the right foot.  If you get the production like that from your pair of stud players, this team could be a major player in the MVC race.  Go get em in St. Louis!

Glad to see you recognizing Javon as a player to be taken seriously in the Valley. Also good to see you acknowledging that Valpo might be better than you first thought.

Yeah, be foolish not to.  Guy has been fantastic.  I think that we also write-off Sackey and Clay, but both of those guys will get more attention come league play.  Clay is a guy that should be in the Freshman/Newcomer conversation.

I appreciate what you guys do, keep up the good work.

I like getting my competitive drive going on the ride into work listening to your Podcast this last week (binge style).  Just thinking about how most of the conference thinks Valpo is a perennial doormat.  Don't misconstrue my words here, we deserve nothing better or worse until we prove otherwise.  But thanks for speaking your minds, most of the commentary is not unjustified in what limited examples you have in several years of us laying an egg.

Appreciate the kind words and thank you for listening.  I think Vance and I are both assuming Valpo is where we got it wrong, especially if Fazekas comes back for league play.  Should be a really fun year.

Hacksaw speculates that UNI could still be in at-large position with one more regular season loss. This has looked to me to be the % bet depending on who and where it might happen against plus who and when they are taken them down in St.Louis. With that in mind I wouldn't panic if Loyola beats them tonight. They should finish up about an hour after our battle at ISU.

I just hope that we have a second team that can also make a little noise in the tournament and surprise somebody. Otherwise I would prefer that UNI get the most advantageous seed possible so that they are in the best position possible to make a run. I do like the potential and future of the Valley though. If it's not this year I really do think the multibid Valley dream might be realized fairly soon!

Can't wait to hear Vance and Bakers take on Valpo's wins against their Persian Hounds and Birds of red. ;)

I actually enjoy them. They give props to good play and credit to teams other than their own. Actually, sometimes they're harder on their own

I agree with this.  The hosts are open and honest about their allegiances, but also give credit to other teams.  They covered the SIU loss on the previous episode.  I think their take was a little bit more of "SIU played terribly" rather than "Valpo played great".  Was probably a little of both.

In any event, I'm appreciative that they do the show, and hope they continue.  And I will look forward to hear how they address the Valpo comeback.

Let's face it without SIU shooting and playing so horribly there is no way Valpo wins so easily because, again, Valpo did not play at their best and, more importantly, to their fullest potential.
