Great for state pride. But just like Oklahoma getting the bulk of their roster from Texas, they get the bulk of their players from a neighboring state (or two - mainly GA and NC): Clemson -- 58 out of 118 are South Carolinians; USC -- only 43 of 104 are native to the state. Doesn't diminish the accomplishment though. And most programs are like that.
Crap, most D-1 programs have at least a handful of Texans ;)...look at Missouri as an example.
