"Very raw in the game of basketball"

Ugh! Here we go again.  I'd pass on this one if he were 10 feet tall.

Kikas was raw when he came in, but he was certainly worth the investment of time and patience.

Valpo Basketball / Re: Next season's "glue guy?"

I worry about Kevin being too brittle to serve as glue. i really like Ryan, but I see him as the potential star-power that needs to be attached to the rest of the team.
I think that Kenney can fill the void -- he has skills, strength, and the right attitude.

OK, I'm through with the stages of grief.
Now let's find a big with skills and make the best of the situation.

He's getting zero NBA interest. The only publicity he's getting from the NBA is how he's making a mistake. I've said before I think this is foul but that may be just me. He can go for all I care. Can we get Bizoukas?
wrong

Crusaderdad, I was hoping you were saying "wrong" about the rumors on the Purdue board...

The notion of Brandon to Michigan State per the above article really scares me.  MSU needs an experienced point guard and they just had a scholly open up with a transfer.  Word on the street (per message boards, so take it for what it is worth) is that MSU might not want to use this additional scholly this year so that they could use it for an additional recruit the year after next.  Bringing Brandon on the MSU team for one year would fill their need for an experienced point guard AND allow State to have an additional scholarship the year after next.  Also, at the present time, the only true point guard on State's team next year will be a true freshman.  This would mean that Brandon (if offered a scholly - which is pure conjecture at this point) would have a very good chance to start for a team is generally at the top of the heap in the Big 10 and usually makes very good runs in the NCAA tourney.  A good fit for all, except Valpo.  :-(

This is an interesting analysis, but I would prefer an analysis that argues that Brandon's return to Valpo is the only real option for him.

After reading this thread, I recall the discussion about whether or not it was appropriate for Valpo fans to rush the court after the victory over Butler.  I haven't checked back on the comments, but I would like to think that each poster who believes that Butler is head and shoulders better than Valpo would have said, "This was a great accomplishment, the type of win that merits rushing the floor."

His birthday is Feb 2, 1989!  That makes him a 22 year old high school senior!  Man, if I was 22 in high school I could have really hurt myself!   ;D

"Jakolis played for the Croatian National Team in the U18 European Championships in 2009"

Something doesn't compute here!
