perhaps...but i'm always wary of going site-to-site.

Apostle and agibson, just curious - With your knowledge of the RPI mathematical system, do you think our RPI will improve to double digits if we were to beat Detroit tonight?

It will depend on what other teams do, of course.  But everything else being equal, making some quick estimates.  Yes, I think we'll most likely go to double digits if we win.  And most likely won't fall as far as 120 if we lose.  (From 107, currently.)

LaPorteAveApostle

Don't worry, gibson.  We got this.

DOUBLE DIGITS IT IS

(of course it not only depends on what we do, and our opponents, and our opponents' opponents, but also the schools between us and 99...)

It looks like our non-conference opponents showed up to help us out too, except for IUPUI

Right you are - all the way up to 91!

agibson

We went 107 --> 93, Detroit 85 --> 100.  When I checked maybe 30 minutes ago.  Not sure how many other games were final at that point.

agibson

And now it's 90/99.  Games finishing by the minute, I suppose!

On the road in State College even!

SLU drops one at home to Rhode Island (7-15, 1-2). That is not good for the Billikens. Wonder how Keith Carter feels about his decision to transfer after tonight.

I didn't catch his reaction, but nice to see him on the bench.

Loyola barely survives an OT game at Chicago State, 66-63 (on ESPN 3). Scottie Pippen's nephew and legal ward, Quinton Pippen, took a three at the end of the overtime but it was no good.

Now Triangle Pippen taking a five-pointer, that would be news...

i tell you what, when Detroit tied it with 5 to go, I thought they were done.

You'd have thought I'd never seen Detroit choke at home before.  Wow.

Just turned it on but from what I have seen Wright State looks good. Running clock and scoring on most possessions.

talksalot

I think I see the light:  Discipline.  Detroit hates it... Wright thrives on it.  Ok Everyone:  "Duh!"

LaPorteAveApostle

62 pts...right now ties their season low (Miami & CSU).

Wow!  WSU is the real deal.  And Detroit, once again, gets theirs.  They'll be lucky to be 9-7.
