I'm watching Loyola MD play Manhattan right now.  They are not very good and lead Manhattan 37-30 with 4:26 to go. Granted, they are on the road, but we need a better opponent. Let's hope for ND State or Ohio.  As stated earlier, I doubt ESPN would give a tv game (meaning ESPN2 or ESPNU) to three teams in the same conference, so I doubt Northern Iowa would pass us.  Plus, if they lose they are 10-10, not a great tv game.

Loyola looks bad. We would blow them out.

The player of the game had 9 points....

Hope it's not ND State... don't want to have to go up there!   Baltimore is a MUCH easier trip...

Geting better, 28-27 GB at half. Let's hope for a Milwaukee win.  The crowd is impressive!  All the more reason to not over expand the ARC.  It is packed and I'm sure very loud.

At least the return game would be in November or December. It's not as cold up here then. But I'd love to see that happen.

Good luck today - UIC and Loyola.....

2 games up in the loss column over WSU, GB, and Detroit, and 3-0 in head-to-head games.  That's about as good as it gets after 7 games.

Our schedule is really killing us this year.  It seems everytime I look at the posted scores our opponents lose more games than they win.  At this rate, we could win out the rest of the season, which we wont, and still end up a 13 seed.

I think you're concentrating on the losses too much.

Today/Saturday:

Winners-Georgia Southern, Nebraska-2nd B1G win (many on this board predicted zero or 1), Saint Louis, Oakland and Chicago St. (5 total)

Losers-Northern Illinois, New Mexico, Bethune-Cookman and Kent (4 total)

The rest of the games we played both opponents.
