Many tourists are some times interested in getting to Rocky Mountain National Park near Estes Park, CO by train. The public loves the views and traveling by train in the rockies is very scenic. When the National Park people advertise this they tell people to take the train to Granby, CO and rent a car to travel 20 minutes to the western entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. The Amtrak Station in Granby, CO has a code of GRA. When a ticket is stamped for RMNP they include the designation via GRA. One tourist saw that designation on his ticket VIA-GRA and said "wow--this is going to be a real uplifting train trip."

That's fantastic!

I want to get to all of the main National Parks someday.  I have been to Glacier National Park many times in my life, because my grandparents have their summer home & a cabin on Flathead Lake in the area.  Absolutely beautiful and a place where you can just sit around and not have a care in the world.
