Congrats to them.  To give you an idea of talent differences back then between Valpo and D-3, I had a friend that was on the Valpo football team for the first two years (1999, 2000 seasons), before he transferred to Wisconsin-Whitewater.  I believe he ended up playing the 2001, 2002, and 2003 seasons with UW-W, and was a starter in the secondary, getting all-conference.  At Valpo, he was just a Special Teams player.  He has since gone on to being on the Recruiting side at Wisconsin, Minnesota, and now New Mexico.
