Katz always land on their feet.  :P

Katz getting dumped is shocking to say the least. A class guy and great reporter.

Without naming names, I thought they had a number of on-air people that didn't deserve to be there, as do some of the other networks.  However I was surprised that Katz and Pepper were let go.

I believe they are juggling the salary and contributions to the network so it's tough to see why some decisions are made.

ESPN has torrents quite politically sensitive recently. They should discuss sports and bag all the political crap.

I just pulled the snapshot from Twitter about a widely reported story with no political intention. I didn't even consider the Fox tag. However, if it makes you feel better to have the same story from the Washington Post, I include it here. I can't believe that on a story about removing politics from sports you feel the need to inject politics. You exhibit the very symptom the story suggests most feel tiresome. Take a break!

There is a huge difference in the stories. Wash Post is reporting on why as the NFL trying to pull some influence by their conservative ownership to make ESPN to stop hurting the league. If the NFL is ignoring the damage they have done to retired players and poor handling of the national anthem issues which they clearly caved in on, I think all media should be reporting on it. Read both stories and see how different they are. Seems to me the NFL wants ESPN to cover up their egregious bad treatment of the NFL former players and their awful handling of the national anthem issues.
