UNI's schedule is absolutely daunting. I'd love to see Valpo get to this level one day.

Tough start to the season as Valpo builds a 2-1 lead against Fresno State only to fall in 5 sets. We were outplayed but still it feels like we let one get away. 15-25 27-25 25-18 18-25 10-15. Back at it tonight against St Francis (PA). Hopefully we can get the  split.

UNI climbs to #17 in the rankings ahead of a tough week of competition at home. They take on Iowa State and Washington State, both teams are receiving heavy consideration for the top 25.

SEMO sweeps Evansville 3-0 in last night's only MVC action.

In spite of having four seniors on our squad, I don't expect anything better than middle of the pack.. It seems we still have an Horizon League roster but are playing in The Valley.  Hope they do better, I'll be watching!
