We are quad 3 when someone comes to our house, but a quad 4 when we are the visitor. If we win on the road, it is considered a quad 4 loss (bad loss) for the home team.

Just Sayin post comparison was really interesting, especially SOS and OOC SOS. Indiana State has the highest OOC SOS and Loyola one of the worst. Loyola piled up wins against lesser competition and UNI piled up losses against better competition. Loyola has a top 30 net rating and UNI has almost 200 net rating. If all the teams in the Valley would schedule similar to Loyola would we be better off-schedule just one or two high net rating teams and pile up a lot of wins against lesser competition. Then depend on our conference season to bring up our Net ratings. It is how the Power Conferences do it.

Indiana State beats Mo State at home and their NET rating climbs from 196 to 178. Even at home it is considered a Quad 2 win. Mo State only drops from 60 to 64. Meanwhile, Oakland has only one conference loss in the Horizon League and they have dropped from 67 (in mid December) to 95. Because of there competition in conference play they seem drop in the NET rating, win or lose.

Must be a quadratic equation.
