Keith Carter one of my favorite players.  There are some similarities with Marcus Deupree (yes I'm from Oklahoma).  You guys saw it on ESPN's 30 for 30, the best that never was.  Keith could have been one of the best players in a Valpo uniform if everything worked out in his favor.
CRUSADERS!!!

Why hasn't a pro team picked him up in the last year?

Alec shooting better (75%2 FG, 40% 2FG, 1-2 FT) and with his first pro double-double (13-11) while fouling out (?!) in 28 minutes in a 141-140 (?!) win.

Obviously, I wish Lexus all the best.  What is interesting to me is that if he was our best point guard he would still be at Valpo.  The handwriting was on the wall.  Nuff said...

You can probably make a case he'd be a better backup PG then Micah (Micah probably has the higher ceiling at this point especially offensively), but just because he'd be the better option doesn't mean he'd get as much playing time. Coaches generally try and get the young guys playing time over the older veteran backups because they want to develop the younger players who are the future. We saw coach Lottich do that last year with Micah.

Agreed the writing was on the wall that he wouldn't have as significant of a role as he probably does at Boise State where he is started the other day.

Former graduate assistant Austin Peters first game as an assistant coach. Best of luck to Austin.

Scott Drew could be one of the most under appreciated coaches in College Basketball. He really rebuilt that Baylor program into a consistent Top 25 program (even at one point was ranked #1 in the nation last season).

It will be interesting to see what happens with Baylor Athletics if the Big 12 breaks apart after the big TV deals end in a few years. The TV $ is literally what is holding that conference together and they might not get as big of new deal next time around and schools like Texas and Oklahoma might look to move elsewhere. Baylor might have a tough time finding a new home conference because of all scandals that happened with their football program. It makes you wonder what could happen in a few years. The TV deals are up in 2024–25.

I heard Christmas joins the team every December so it becomes a joyous season in Ft Wayne.

Brandon Wood started as one of about 8 guards on the Bull's G League team and has worked his way up to a starter role and became the Brandon we knew and loved in his last game.

They call these players 'two way' players, but if you look at the box score of the D-League games, it appears they are somewhat 'one way' players.

Looks like Valpo may soon have two guys playing in the NBA.  This site list BWood as one of the top 4 prospects to be called up from the G league.  Wonderful news!  Go Brandon!

I missed the context, but this was Shane Hammink starting for the Dutch National Team in World Cup qualifying matches over the weekend. Beating Croatia, losing to Romania. 15 minutes and 5 points in the win, 20 minutes and 8 points in the loss.

Fantastic!

Boise State wins 73-70 and breaks Oregon's 46-game home win streak with a wild half-court heave at the buzzer by Lexus Williams!
