Rumor has it that Xavier is looking to start a football program with the intentions of joining the PL. The Musketeers haven't fielded a team since the early 1970s.

Last I saw on the PFL Fan Board (posted June 9th), football has been back-burnered because the drive to fund a new football facility ran out of steam.  But I don't  think that is official.
