VUSL98...Just do what I do when traveling. Download the free tunein radio app, search for wvur and you can listen to all of the games no matter where you're at.

Since we are going into the nit final four and are the only #1 seed remaining...does that mean we are heavily favored to win the whole thing?  ;D

Sadly, we're not going to be able to move to another league until the ARC gets expanded. Any funds should be used for that purpose first.

So much for LeCrone's spin that the upset of Valparaiso displayed the strength of the Horizon League. No offense to Green Bay but this was an embarrassment for the HL, and the score diminishes the Horizon League in the eyes of viewers, whose opinions of the conference will be lessened, impacting seeding of HL teams in next year's tourney.

On another note, I am enjoying the many upsets of teams from the bigger conferences whose positions in the NCAA Tourney were bloated and overrated. Teams that refused to play mid-majors or true road games are being exposed, and that should be an embarrassment for the NCAA.

Your statements are so true. We could go 28-0 next year, have an RPI of 20 and end up being a 15 seed. Thanks Mr. Lacrone

All four wheels are coming off the GB bus vs. TAM   66-45 with a little over 9 minutes to go.  :(

Doesn't make the Horizon look too good.

I'm glad. Hope they lose by 40+. I know that Lacrone will say it was still a success. I also hope that if Valpo wins the NIT that the rest of the league gets nothing in return.

I was kinda getting worried about the attendance. The place was empty 5-10 min before tipoff. Then all of a sudden it steadily got packed. Glad to see the black referee on our side, unlike the other two. The way they were calling petty fouls at first, I thought both teams would foul out before halftime.

My buddy backed out on me so i have an extra ticket. If anyone is going alone and would like a free ticket then let me know. I'll be there around 5:15

I just bought my tickets online about 30 min ago. Was surprised to score a pair of tix in lower C, Row J. I thought all of C would be sold out by now.

The thing that upsets me the most is that it is effective immediately. I would be more willing to accept it if this was going to be done gradually...in 2 years or so. To me this is a big slap to Valpo. I'm starting to think a move back down to the Summit League would be better than staying in a conference that doesn't care about its top school.

Maybe this is the fire our AD needs to finally remodel the ARC. I'm sure part of the reason this is happening is because the Horizon League hates our facilities and can't bare thinking about us continuing hosting for the next couple years.

I too am totally against this idea. Makes the regular season meaningless since everyone starts fresh during the tournament. Detroit is a horrible city to host this in. I would literally feel much more safer if it was played in Gary, IN. Indianapolis or even better yet, South Bend would be an ideal neutral location. Let's face it, Indiana should be the neutral state geographically for the tournament. I'm all for leaving the Horizon League. Watch their RPI plummet when their #1 team leaves again would be priceless!

Sources say Bryce would stay if a local restraunt would name a sandwich after him.

The Bryce Burger does sound catchy!

I hope he stays like everyone else wants, but if he leaves I would lose a lot of respect for the guy. Bryce signed a 10 year contract extension only 2 years ago. Sure, people break their contracts in all sports, but it shouldn't be possible or morally right. Maybe if he was halfway through the extension I would feel a little bit better about it. I think he stays, but just the thought of him accepting an interview makes me super nervous.

This game time delay is killing me lol. Unfortunately I don't have cable right now so am resorting to listening to wvur on tunein radio. Listening to Todd is well worth it anyway.

Ah, did it wind up on TuneIn?  WVUR had originally said it wouldn't be there.  Glad to hear Todd had a shot at a national audience.  It was pretty noisy in the Union, and, you know, national broadcast.  So I was checking in on a small radio at timeouts.  Was running maybe 30 seconds ahead of the TV.

Yes, the wvur feed worked flawlessly. TuneIn also had the national Westwood feed available, so I did have a backup just incase lol.

Even tho we lost, I am very happy with the outcome. The boys played an excellent, tight game. I honestly thought we would lose by around 10 pts.

After rewatching the 1998 miracle game, has anyone else noticed the similarities to this year? Ole Miss had an excellent player named Keith Carter and we also had Jaime Sykes (as opposed to Keifer). I don't know if it means anything, but is kinda déjà vu.

I can help with some of the confusion... originally... and like 2013... we built a riser for the media in Section H (Center Court Chairbacks) that took out the first 3 rows, and made row 4 un-sellable.   ESPN showed up either late Thursday or Friday morning... and said those tables/chairs blocked their camera view.... and we took them out... 8-10 hours before tip off.

SO... all of the people in that section were moved up 3-4 rows... leaving the back 3-4 rows of section H "Available" with no way to market it at the last minute

SO... some people got the bump up... this had nothing to do with the seating software...and some were sold to walk-up patrons.

Kudo's to the staff who had to relabel all of the rows for that section and figure out how to sell new seats that did not previously exist!

That explains why seats in section H are available, but there was a software glitch/mixup from my original location. I bought a ticket for row B of section D which I assume they realized needed to go to Green Bays allotment of tickets. I was offered somewhere else in section D or the H chairback. Of course I took the chairback.

The ticket office is making availability errors. I bought a second row ticket online last night that I'm getting screwed out of. They emailed me this afternoon saying they need to relocate me due to an error on their end. Ended up getting a free upgrade to a center court chairback.

I'm there and hoping for an easy win for a change. I remember the championship game a couple years ago against Wright State. That one was such a struggle for both teams. I think we gain some energy in this one and the 3's come in bunches. I also predict that Keith Carter scores 15+ points. We limit Sykes to under 15 points.

Kinda off topic, but I was wondering if anybody knows how many seats are in a row in section "E"? I know B, C, D have 17 seats but E is much smaller. I bought my tickets two days ago and got row D in section E. I know crap corner seats of visiting bench, but only 4 rows up.

That has to be the longest final minute in college basketball history. It must've been like 20 minutes or so.

Inman's has plenty of pool tables. Sure it's not inside the bar area, but you can take your drinks to the pool table area. That's probably your best bet.

It's been a few years but the Duffys (formerly Jacksons bar) on Axe Ave. had a couple dart boards. Don't remember if there was a pool table or not. They probably did tho. I'm sure I was too wasted to pay any attention. Plus it's pretty close to campus, near the law school.
