He's 30, not 40. He wasn't 32 when he graduated Valpo.

Sources indicate Jake Diebler returning to Ohio State as an assistant.

I might have missed it, but Parker Hazen will be playing at Lipscomb.  I wish him well.

Good for him. His freshman season was awful and I had some serious doubts that he could ever find his way back to D-1 basketball. I hope he continues to progress and maybe we can catch a little of his play next year or the year after.

For those in Valparaiso, Athletics Hall of Famer Casey Schmidt is running for City Council in District 3. The primary is next week, May 7.

I tried to find stats on the team website, to no avail.  Verdammt.

With those stats in Germany, he might get some looks from Italian, Turkish, Russian, and Spanish teams (top leagues in Europe).

Interesting! I wonder if the Mavs are selling Ryan's accent or his masculinity/sex appeal more. Whatever it is they must be making a profit off of it. I wonder if Ryan gets a cut of the profit.

Always cool to see our alums remembering their time at Valpo fondly:

Stalin is probably one of the greatest Colombian basketball players of all time.  He has essentially been their entire national team in regards to scoring, ever since he graduated.

I'd love to see Valpo hire Austin to the staff one day.

Does Valpo have an opening for a Director of Basketball Operations?  Many programs use that spot to stash talented young coaches who they can promote if any assistants leave.

Interestingly, Joe Meehan (mentioned in the tweet) joined Bucknell as a DOBO before being promoted to an assistant coach position.

Not trying to stoke the coaching controversy, just wondering.  Do they still have a home in NWI?
