Looks like Butler is on the way to a 5 seed!  Milwaukee stormed out of the gate at 20-7 against Loyola so far...

Kinda looks like we'll see either Milwaukee or Butler on Saturday night.  Playing either again is scary
The two greatest things on earth?  Short hair cuts and Valpo Victories!

Wright State has a history of beating Butler.  I can see BU losing in the first round at home...

Remember, the bracket is reseeded after the second round, so we'll play the lowest remaining seed. Cheer for some upsets!

Its always hard for me to cheer for Detroit but anyone else is fine really.  A chance to erase that UWM loss would b nice.

Nope, no re-seeding.  We're guaranteed to play the 4-5-8-9 survivor.

Are you positive?

I think the fact that Detroit is on the opposite side of the bracket is good news. It's fair to say they've played as well as anybody over the last month. Additionally, from a talent standpoint, they're second to none.

There is no reseeding.

agibson

No reseeding on the official bracket.

So, it's whoever survives of Wright State, UIC, Butler, and at the moment it's still either Milwaukee or YSU.  Milwaukee by 9.

agibson

Milwaukee it is.  So, if I have it right it's

1 Valpo 14-4
2 CSU 12-6
3 Detroit 11-7
4 Milwaukee 11-7
5 Butler 11-7
6 YSU 10-8
7 GB 10-8 (trusting Jim on the tiebreak here)
8 Wright State 7-10
9 UIC 3-14
10 Loyola 1-16

So, Milwaukee-UIC, Butler-Wright State.  And we play the winner.

Poor Butler - a 5 seed, the lowest for them since 2005.  Awwwww .

Friday's game sure had huge ramifications for them.  I really did not think that all of the negative scenarios would actually happen to drop them from the 2 to the 5 seed.
