Rin Seibert

Rin lost her battle with cancer this last week. Rin has been a fixture at Valpo since 1980. Her work with athletics and recreation spanned all those years. She also taught for the PE/Kin Dept for all those years. I have known Rin for 23 years. She never failed to give me a hug and a smile. But it is all the students she touched and mentored and inspired that is the true measure of who she was and is. Rin was involved in Campus Recreation during her years at VU. The fitness center we have now was her inspiration and her passion. I would like to propose that that Building be dedicated and named for Rin. It is her building.
