Very interested to watch this game in an hour. We'll see how Valpo commit Zane Doughty matches up against Flory Bidunga of Kokomo who could go to any college in the country as a 5 star and #4 in the class of 2024. I was the swim coach at Kokomo from 2020-2022 and got to see quite a few games from Flory, his athleticism is unreal. These teams played earlier in the season and Kokomo gave Ben Davis one of its toughest games of the year. Should be a good one!

Valpo at ISU, just another microcosm of Lottich's inability. No game plan but to play right into their up tempo game. His players got fouled like crazy and he just stands there, weak man with no soul...wow this program might be down for the next decade and no one is doing a damn thing about it...no wonder there has been no game thread...I'm beyond disappointed in the leadership of this university. Absolutely no donations coming from me...

Game 3 should be an opportunity to get some of our bench guys valuable playing time. As much as I'd like to win by 20+, I think getting Emil, Max, Cam, Darius, Connor etc some extended run would be great. Chicago State is 1-2,ranked 352/363 teams by Massey with loses to NW by 31 and St Thomas(brand new to D1) by 18. They did beat IUPUI by 10 which isn't saying much considering the mass exodus of players two years ago. Hopefully we don't come out flat and give them a chance!

We've got absolutely nothing to lose , maybe we come out hot again and keep it close for awhile. They've thumped us both times, but who knows. We keep it close until the midway point of the second half. Line has moved in Valpo's favor from +12 to +10.5!

Well the Valpo website has already assumed we're beating Evansville and playing Mo St tomorrow so I guess we're winning lol.

The old adage, it's hard to beat a team 3 times, but surely we can get it done against the purple aces. They put up a good fight on our home court. Vegas has us at -6. If Kithier plays and gives us 20 solid minutes we should move on to Friday. We should move on even if he doesn't but it might be a little closer than we'd like.

Game is on ESPN+ and will be brought on to NBC Sports Chicago and Bally Sports at 9 I believe.

We haven't won a game against a top tier Valley team and have made no noise this year. Would be nice to get a win! Something positive to go into next Thursday with. Kithier gonna be out? Ruedinger? I think we're headed in the right direction but can we take down Drake? I watched Drake against North Texas which was a great game and Drake lost by 3, UNT out hustled them but idk if our guys have that for 40 minutes. Two very competitive games against them last year one of which we dominated. Line started at Valpo +14.5 and has moved to +13.5, little to no respect from Vegas but I think we'll cover.  +625 on the money line. Eron Gordon gets back at it and hits 4 3s(Why is he shooting soooo badly) and we keep it close!

I know I am looking forward to this season with all the new faces. Big year to see if Matt can get these guys to gel. Ashland was decent last year. I'm annoyed they aren't streaming it. Anybody know why? Would it give away too much info to future opponents or something else? Ickow it'll be.

 7.5 hours to game time. Valpo favored by 11, SIUE kept it semi close with a solid LSU team this year, but got wrecked by SLU and narrowly defeated by NE Omaha. Narrow 5 point win by Valpo in 2018. 13 point win at SIUE last year. I hope we can put the hammer down and win by 15-20+.

Alright no one has started a thread and the game is in 16 hours. I typically make a prediction, but I've been way off so I'll give the line instead. Valpo is at -1.5 with the O/U at 139. If I were to bet I would go over and take Drake but the moment I do that Sackey goes nuts,McMillan doesn't foul out, Krikke hits a 3, and Valpo wins. Drake most recently beat Loyola and Indiana St., but opened league play with a loss to Wardle. Their only real tests of the year were at Cincy where they lost by 22 and at Dayton where they lost by 31. There best non conference win was a 10 point tilt against Murray St. in a tournament down in Florida. Ahhh what the hell here is a prediction...

The win against the redbirds is their best win of the season. They have yet to beat anyone in the top 200( I look at Massey Ratings). Lets get on a roll!

May as well get one going since the game starts in 4.5 hours. This game might go like the Nevada one did, hopefully someone besides JFL steps up? Wish Sackey's shot was better from long range. Maybe he can get some easy transition buckets. McMillan and Robinson need to step up! Line is at -12.5 for Cincy, I'll be buying a point and taking Cincy.

I'm gonna go ahead and say we'll be playing Nevada Sunday night. Nevada is a new look team with Alford at the helm and the Martin twins and Caroline gone. They look good against Fordham. This is will be our toughest matchup so far. McMillan will need to stay out of foul trouble,especially if Krikke is out again. If we pull this one we've got something this year!

I'll try another, last game I said Golder had to have 15+ for us to win and that was obviously incorrect, but we did win so here I am. J got a dunk which was a long time coming. We need to keep AJ GREEN IN CHECK, maybe put Golder on him? I thought about/am still thinking about making the 3 hour drive down from Minneapolis, but the weather is supposed to questionable and I don't want a 3 hour drive turning into 6. Valpo by 4.

I'll put my 75% win rate on the line and see what happens. No clue how the games gonna turn out because this team is too inconsistent,  BUT we gotta stay POSITIVE! Can Golder get out of his funk?? If he scores 15+ we'll win! When was the last time Sorolla or Smits had a dunk? SIU has played well over their last 8 except for the blowout loss at Loyola, and we have... well... you know... lost some games.

I'm 2/3 on starting on game threads,my loss was the WVU game(they desperately need a big 12 win) so here goes. My guess is Jacobson out coaches Lottich while also yelling at the refs after every call, but UNI isn't as good as they have been in years past so who knows. I'll give us a 54% chance to win, Massey says we have a 68% chance to win, but I'm not buying it especially without Fazekas. Hopefully Evelyn shows up to the ARC Saturday!!!

We're a little more than 48 hours from the start of game 4 in MVC play. There is no doubt this will be a tough test. I'd be thrilled if we can win one of the SIU/Loyola games, but why not win both?? Will Fazekas play? I'm guessing not, but I expect Evelyn and Golder to have big games.

WVU isn't as good as the media thought they would be, but I still think they will light us up. Smits will get into foul trouble with Konate down low. Will Sorolla play? I clicked the video link for the game, I wonder if the game will be free to watch tomorrow? Keeping it within single digits could be a "moral victory" but I'm not optimistic that will happen. Maybe someone else has a different opinion??

We start off November with an exhibition game against the UIndy Greyhounds(not part of the poll,but they have typically played us well! We lost to them in 2009 by 5 and beat them by 8 in 2015), and finish with UNLV in the MW/MVC Challenge. Who knows who our opponents will be for games 2 and 3 of the Myrtle Beach Invitational but that's part of the guess work of the poll. We definitely have a tougher November than last year so we'll get to find out a lot about this team within the 1st month!

This will be a very tough game, curious too see what the line will open at. Bacon and Beasley will be tough to stop but with our team defense we can make it happen. Looking forward to this one, I liked the energy towards the end of the game tonight and if we bring that passion we win our 28th

Hopefully we can carry over the defensive performance from Mo St. Belmont has lost their last two games, by 2 to Cleveland St, and by 21 to Middle Tenn. The Bruins will be hungry, but I know Bryce will have them ready. Come out with some effort and avoid the Holiday Hangover. Go Po'!
