Title: Students & faculty share VU experiences
Post by: David81 on December 15, 2022, 06:44:03 PM
The current issue of The Torch is devoted to essays by students & faculty, sharing their VU experiences. The final essay is by Paul Oren, the paper's faculty advisor. (Nice job, Paul!) Especially as a one-time Torch reporter and department editor, I was delighted to see this!

They could've used a better picture! That classroom was so cold that day that I wore a jacket that day. Didn't realize I was doing a photo shoot until it was too late. Ha!

Hey, you're faculty. Wardrobe expectations are modest! 🤓 Plus, the essay is great.

And seriously, the admissions office should print up a couple of thousand copies of this issue and send a copy to admitted students.

Great stuff!  It was heart warming to read the stories of students, professors and employees that make Valpo, Valpo.  It has always been a special place.

Good essay.  No comment on your memory of 4th floor Brandt Hall, and whether that sounds like something my friends would have caused you ;)
