Michael Rogers Signs with Spanish Team

Mike Rogers has hooked on with a European team. He is playing in Gandia, which is a town along the Mediterranean coast. I have been to the region, and it is lovely. If you read Spanish, here is an article:

Congrats Michael!  That looks like it is the third tier division of Spanish basketball.  If they get promoted, he will be able to play Samuel Haanpaa if he is re-signed, who was in the second tier division with CD Maristas.  Interesting note on the Finnish team in that we now have three people on their national team, and they made their first trip to the European Championships in 16 years over the last few weeks: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finland_national_basketball_team

In his professional debut this weekend, though his team lost 84-60, Mike Rogers got off to a great start by leading both teams in scoring with 18 points:
